What's Black and White, and Wins All Over?

Hi To all my fans out there in Panda Land!! I've taken on another awesome challenge , and here's the press release for my new publicity photo above:

The National Zoo racing team's premier driver, Tai Shan aka SUPERPANDA! takes a snack break in the cockpit of his car during practice for the upcoming Indy 500. Tai's corporate sponsors include Panda Cafe; Giant Pandas at the National Zoo (thanks Momma Mei Xiang); Animal Planet's "A Panda Is Born"; and Tai-Sicle, "The frozen fruit treat that's good to eat".

Watch for me, I'll be the car in the front. :-)

Thanks Bruce! I hope you are feeling better. This is great. I hope Tai can zoom by my neighborhood to give me a lift, haha!

Cute little buttery guy rocketing around! He needs more safety gear though.

Mommamei might get upset if he doesn't have his helmet. Want to protect that smart brain of his...

That's why this picture was taken during a snack break, so you could see Tai Shan without the Nomex racing suit, helmet, restraints, etc.

Hi Gang,
I'm feeling MUCH better, and back at work. I'm off to Canada next week so all of you up there are forewarned LOL. I'll have to see if I can find out what new adventures Tai Shan has planned for this weekend and report back.

Our lil' prince, always wondering what's the next thing to do. Always surprising us! But he's definitely into fast-paced sport events. What next your HRH?

Bruce, perfect!!! Hope your feeling better.

awright bruce! so happy to hear you're feeling muchly better! our favorite panda disguised as a human can't be sick long, then we'd have to take action and i'm not sure you WANT that. LOL

Hopefully you won't catch a deadly Canadian infection to go along with the one you're just getting over. also stay clear of the charging moose herds.

That's some great set of wheels you've given the Taister, Bruce. Very glad to see you are back up to speed again. Stay well.

Hi all,

I just got home (to D.C.) from my trip to Iowa City. I enjoyed a bird watching outing while there, but I was sorely panda-deprived! I missed checking up on Butter daily via cam and blog. Good to be home.

I am so glad to hear you're feeling better, Bruce. I love the picture! The details are so clever and funny - "Tai-sicle" corporate sponsorship and all his panda stickers.

Glad to see you back too. Missed ya. Feels good to have the gang from the old days back in place again.

BTW Kathleen, have you checked out the discuss page in Flickr's PandasUnlimited. It's wild.

They need to have Panda Pops in the concession area. I have actually made human-scaled fruitsicles at home; it's doable. :-)
